Our journey began not in a classroom or a boardroom, but with a mother’s resolve. When our founder, Camila, was told her son’s dyslexia was a lifelong limitation with no solution, she refused to accept it. For a mind shaped by STEM principles, “impossible” was simply a problem waiting to be solved. This defining moment was the catalyst for creating a place where no child’s potential is ever written off.

Camila’s own life was an unofficial, immersive STEM education. Raised by educators, her world was a laboratory of discovery—from coding and engineering to the intricate arts of tailoring and baking. This hands-on, problem-solving mindset was her compass, even as she built a successful 20-year career in global finance, rising to senior positions in multinational companies as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

However, her true calling remained. Driven by her son’s needs, she pivoted, arming herself with a formidable array of qualifications: a Certified Metaverse Expert, a Certified IoT Specialist, and certifications in Digital Circuits, Computer Hardware, and Engineering is Elementary. She took matters into her own hands, founding her first STEM centre in 2012.

The most powerful proof of her method is her own son, Tan Shi Wei. Once defined by his learning disability, Shi Wei defied all expectations. After just two months of focused preparation, he sat for his IGCSE O-Levels three years early, at age 16, and achieved flying colours with 4 A’s and 1 C. He is our living STEM testimony.

Camila’s pioneering work in transformative education has earned her international acclaim, including the prestigious World Woman Excellent Award and the ASEAN Women Leadership Award.
