Creating DIY robots is an exciting way to explore robotics, electronics, programming, and mechanics, with varying complexity levels based on skills and interests, thanks to accessible open-source tools.

The programme teaches basic engineering concepts so that students can roam freely in their thoughts and apply their creativity in the studio to make robots with moving mechanisms and concepts. From walking, climbing to running bots, your students will be more curious about the unlimited potential to create anything they can imagine with materials such as engine parts, switches, electronics and boards etc. They will be utilizing our facilities and equipment, including 3D printers, woodworking machines, laser cutting tools, and more, to bring their creation to fruition.

Students will be able to bring home the works they’ve created during the class. Recycled materials, art materials, engine and other parts are included in the programme.

Learning Outcome:

Robotics and Drone

Robotics and drones are rapidly evolving technologies poised to reshape numerous aspects of our lives, from manufacturing and logistics to agriculture and environmental monitoring. Robotics, with its increasing sophistication in automation and complex task execution, promises to revolutionize industries and redefine the nature of work. Drones, offering unprecedented aerial access and maneuverability, open up new possibilities in fields like delivery services, surveillance, and even photography. To ensure future generations are prepared to harness the full potential of these technologies, it’s crucial to introduce robotics and drone concepts early in education. 

This program delves into the intricacies of robotics and drone technology, providing educators and students with the tools and resources needed to inspire exploration and innovation. Through hands-on experience with robotics kits, drone platforms, and programming software, students will gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of the underlying principles, preparing them for success in a future increasingly shaped by these dynamic fields. The program will facilitate experimentation and discovery, using tools ranging from programmable robots and drone simulators to actual drone hardware, fostering a new generation of robotics and drone experts.

Educational Wood Makings

Wood makings and craft has long been enjoyed by many from the ways of unique designing to transforming and solving problems through wood makings. It is truly a universal activity, flexible and adapatable. In addition, wood makings is not just about the fun, but also its usefulness. Wood makings can be used to fix, build and repair in our daily lives.

Be STEM ReadyTM has come fully equipped with educational wood making devices that are safe and easy to be used by student with age 5 and above, opening the door for ealy accessible to wood makings skill and creativity to its fullest potentential. Furthermore, the skill of wood makings is the skill of mental sharpness, improve motor skill and imagintation.

Flight Adventure

Drone and plane piloting will be one of the mainstream demanded set of skills in the current technology world. As such Be STEM ReadyTM students would not be blindsided by this fact but fully support the notion by offering a dedicated program to educate students to equip them with these demanded skills. This is a program focused in the entire process of learning and discovering the path of pocket flight. While it may sound otherwise, this program still includes the integration of STEM throughout its learning process as it covers the entire timeline from students getting to constructing their own plane, discovering its wiring and controls, experience the test flight simulator and most importantly learning to fly their plane in person. Within these conditions, students will be allowed to fully discover their potential by unleashing their curiosity in learning while being able to experience the fun during the process. the learning does not conclude at the end product, but continues onward to carry onto a universally yet especially applicable knowledge in today’s modern day and technological age.
